Jé Table

Jé Table is a, 6' x 3' x 48", adjustable height table meant to turn from a dining table into a bar. My high school mentor, Jené, who helped me get into MIAD, contacted me a few months ago saying she wanted a dining table that could raise up, fold, and turn into a bar with a 3,000 dollar budget. We got our hands dirty in Sketchup, collaborated ideas, visited some local scrap yards, worked with mechanical engineer friends at MSOE, and we truly designed and built, together, this detail - oriented flexible furniture piece that now occupies her apartment in Chicago. This thing is truly amazing to operate.
