Bungee Bench

Bungee Bench is a, 6' x 2' x 24", storage unit with cabinet doors made of bungee chord that energizes any space. It was made of birch ply, green ash, and resin. The holes cut in the sides are to allow light into the piece and cats love it! The red bungee is interchangeable but was chosen to give the furniture life and I call them "the veins". The legs are made of custom cast resin feet that screw in. 20+ feet of mild steel was inlayed into the piece to give the illusion it is holding the piece together. This experimental build was sold in August 2019 for 999$.
